Wildlife area and environmental education resource
We are thrilled to report that the amazing team from Living Forest have been busy putting the final touches to our new wildlife area and environmental education resource. Beautiful paths have been created around the area and work to the pond margins has been carried out. The Green Team are excited to start sowing the wildflower meadow and we can’t wait to use this fantastic area with the children.
As always, we are truly grateful to the team from the Living Forest for enabling us to bring to life Amy Wardman’s beautifully drawn plans and Sussex Lund, (a collaboration between the High Weald AONB Partnership and the Lund Trust, a charitable fund of Lisbet Rausing and Peter Baldwin) for financing this project. Thank you also to everybody who has helped us fund additional items by supporting the Green Team’s sale of bird boxes and seed packets.
