The Green Team were rewarded for all their hard work throughout the year by being the first pupils to explore our new 'living classroom'. They were amazed to see beautiful dragonflies(Broad-bodied Chaser) and damselflies (Common Blue) hovering over the pond and once they started pond dipping, they quickly discovered that the water was already teeming with life. They found a selection of microscopic creatures as well as larger specimens such as water beetles and boatmen.

The children also enjoyed searching for mini beasts, and it is apparent that this area is already a haven for wildlife. We can't wait to watch how it develops over the coming years.
